Externally, the SRS-NS7 neckband can be very redolent of the design of already known products like JBL Soundgear BTA or Bose SoundWear Companion. But the sony model SRS NS7 has a quite different specialization.

The sony novelty neckband is designed to enjoy an "immersive home theater experience" for the listener while watching tv sitting in front of the Sony Bravia XR TV. The advantages are obvious: on the one hand - the peace of loved ones and others, on the other - certain freedom from headphones fixed on the head.

Dolby Atmos, the novelty, is realized with the help of a separately purchased WLA-NS7 wireless transmitter and a Sony TV compatible with this format. The neckband connects to it via Bluetooth. The 360 Spatial Sound Personalizer application will work, which, having photographed the ear of the future listener, optimizes the location of the virtual Dolby Atmos speakers for him.

When paired with a tablet, smartphone or PC, the sony SRS-NS7 neckband will also deliver 360 Reality Audio, playing prepared tracks from music streaming services like Deezer and Tidal Spotify. What's more, you can connect the sony SRS-NS7 neckband speaker to two devices at the same time. For example, while watching tv you can instantly switch to your mobile to answer a call - the sony SRS-NS7 neckband also works as a telephone headset.

The owner of the novelty can count on 12 hours of operation at medium volume or 5 hours at maximum. Even in the bathroom, the sony SRS-NS7 is IPX4 splash-resistant, no matter the direction. The novelty neckband is already available on a prepaid basis, and the launch of the sony SRS-NS7  is expected on the 20th of October.

The Sony SRS-NS7 neck speaker costs approx $ 300, and the WLA-NS7 transmitter costs approx $ 60
