Best Way to Sync LED's With Music

How To Sync LED lights With Music.

The best way to sync lights with music is to use RGB strip light with music sync enable.

but if you don't want to buy a new RGB light and want to use your old led strip light then here is the solution. this instructable will show you how to tie your led strip light to sync with bass (low frequency). it is not the best way to sync led lights with music, in the start I blow up my bulbs but now it's working perfectly and I'm using this setup for 2 years.

What Will You Need.

1.Led strip light

2.wire

3.an old amp

4.an audio signal (sub out)

                                      -led strip light.

normally led strip light comes in 12 volts dc power. and I recommend that you use 12 volts dc stip light because if you will use less than 12 volts dc led strip light or bulb it will blow because the low frequency has more than mid or high.in this setup, I am using 12 volts dc blue waterproof strip neon light.

-wire.

you can use any wire no need of using high-quality wire.

                                     -an old amp.

at this point why I am saying old amp is because you don't want to blow your quite expensive amp right?  using an old amp is better. you can use your old car amp in this setup I'm using a car amp.

                         -An Audio Signal (Sub Out)

connect your sub out to the old amp if you want to sync the led light with bassA Car Amp.

Step 1: Connect your sub out to the amp

-Connect your sub out to the old amp if you want to sync your led light with bass.

Step 2:Connect the LED Strip Light.

Literally, all you have to do is to connect your positive led wire to the positive terminal of am a negative led wire to the negative terminal of amp I am connecting the led to amps bridge mode because the bridge terminal has more power as compared to single-channel. and now the setup is complete.

play the music you will notice that the led strip lights sync only with bass (low frequency). the more the volume of your old amp led sync brighter.
you can use the same setup in your car.
