with and without ANC

Two models of completely wireless Rail headphones appeared on the Skullcandy website at once - with and without ANC . Otherwise, the novelties are indistinguishable, neither functionally nor externally. Only the operating time is slightly different. In addition, the Rail ANC model is only available in True Black (which we think is just black), and the non-ANC Rail headphones are also available in Bone, most likely light brown.

For the older model, up to ten hours of battery life without or up to seven hours with ANC are claimed, and the charging case will add, respectively, 25/20 hours. Skullcandy Rail headphones without noise reduction are promised eight hours of operation on a single charge and 34 hours from the charging case. Ten minutes of charging will add two hours of playback. The manufacturer declared resistance to sweat, water and dust: the new products were rated IPX4.

In telephony, both models received the "Smart Mic" option, which reduces background noise. In the Skull-iQ app, you can customize the sound to suit your individual hearing by "performing a real-time sound test to create a personal sound profile." Alternatively, use a software equalizer. There you can also reconfigure the buttons, get updates (when they appear), etc.

If you lose sight of your earpiece, you can make it "respond" using the Tile app. Skullcandy Rail headphones are equipped with Bluetooth 5.2, which means multi-point pairing (“many”, as you know, in this case means “two”). The Rail ANC version is enhanced with adjustable 4-mic Active Noise Cancellation with Stay-Aware Transparency Mode. Branded voice assistant Hey, Skullcandy! allows you to control its modes, and subsequently its capabilities are promised to be expanded - with the next firmware.

In the US, Skullcandy Rail headphones (they are sold only on the official website) cost $ 80, for ANC you will have to add another 20.
