Pro-Ject Stereo Box DS3 is the next generation of integrated stereo amplifiers from the Austrian brand. The novelty is made in the topology of dual mono, at least immediately after the remote power module 36 V / 5.5 A DC (slightly less than 200 W). At the same time, an output power of 2 x 150 watts into 4-ohm speakers is declared, twice as much as in the previous Stereo Box DS2.

The system includes a Bluetooth 5.0 module with support for aptX, aptX HD, A2DP, and a phono stage for MM and MC cartridges. In addition, traditionally, the Stereo Box DS3 received three line inputs and a headphone output, which is powered by a separate specialized amplifier.

There are also adjustable and unregulated line outputs - you can connect an additional amplifier, active subwoofer or, say, a recording device. The input and output of the trigger signal are not forgotten.

On the front panel is a motorized volume control. Its rotation can be controlled remotely, from the remote control. The speaker cable terminals are universal screw terminals with banana holes.

The device is available in black or silver, and the design can be supplemented with side decorative panels on magnetic mounts with three options for wooden texture. The aluminum housing also serves as a good noise shield.

In Europe, the price of the integrated amplifier Pro-Ject Stereo Box DS3 is 900 euros.
