The subwoofer can be connected to the signal source only through the line inputs, however, for use in triphonic 2.1 systems, additional jacks with a separate low-pass filter are provided (Flat modes or cut at 60 or 80 Hz).
From the very first minutes of listening, we note the high timbre accuracy, correct reproduction of the attack and an enviable rate of fire. It becomes clear that the developers put the sound quality at the forefront, and not the value of the created sound pressure. For this reason, in a home cinema system, the subwoofer does not work as effectively, somewhat overdriving at high volume. The built-in amplifier also seemed not too powerful - we did not feel the expected "blow to the chest". You should also be careful when setting the cutoff frequency - in a too wide band, the sound noticeably loses in intelligibility and becomes slightly coarse.
This subwoofer can be recommended for work with bookshelf monitors in the 2.1 system - here it will show itself in all its glory.
Pros.
Accurate, intelligible and fast bass reproduction at low volumes.
Cons.
Noticeable loss of clarity at high amplitudes.
