The pressure from the Chinese audio industry is pleasantly surprising at times. As soon as the colossus of microelectronics release a new chip or transistor, industrially manufactured products already appear in the vastness of electronic platforms.

It seemed that only recently I was talking about luxurious class D amplifier chips - TPA3250-3255, which can seriously change your idea of ​​how much a very high class sound can cost if it is implemented on these microcircuits.

The manufacturer of TPA3255 microcircuits, Texas Instruments, presented its new chips in an extremely peculiar way - if you believe the presentation, then they mainly rely on active speakers for a computer, soundbars, subwoofers and, as a result, receivers. But all this can be ignored - it is enough to hear how good these chips sound. After listening to the Marantz PM-15S1 premium sound amplifier, I connected a TPA3255-based board with a switching power supply in my system, and you know what? The sound was very close in quality, detail, microdynamics to such a monster of quality as the Marantz PM-15S1 - it's amazing.

Not surprisingly, as I came out, I hurried to get at my disposal amplifiers based on TPA325x, and given the speed of creating new products by our friends from China, it was not difficult to do it in the face of excellent models, for example, the FX-Audio D-502SPRO on TPA3250

And later I bought a separate ready-made board based on TPA3255 without a case and power supply, which impressed me even more.

And if you do not have such devices in your collection yet, this is a serious omission.

For a very long time, even in the Chinese market there were no finished models of amplifiers on the TPA3255 microcircuit, you could only buy a board with soldered elements and place it yourself in the case and supply it with a power supply.

But after a year or two, the dam finally burst and first there was a device from Aiyima A04 on TPA3255. 

It guessed the features of the motherboard I had previously purchased (by the way, in the reference design from Texas Instruments and even with improvements), but a little neutered and with the version 5 bluetooth stuck into the design (why!).

I still have no doubt that even with the deterioration, the device sounds great, but users have noticed an audible click when turning the device on and off. But here we are in one team with the Naim fans, who, having paid off fabulous money, are also for some reason ready to put up with clicks in the speakers when turning them on and off. To forgive a click on an amplifier for 3200 rubles is probably much easier than for a device for 100-300,000 rubles.

Nevertheless, already having in my hands an almost reference board with TPA3255, I was not ready to put up with the product, which in fact I already had, but with a disadvantage, albeit not essential.

As if the Chinese sky heard my thoughts and literally in the next one or two weeks on aliexpress a new amplifier model began to appear on the sites, this time from a fairly well-known seller Breeze Audio, who usually acts in collaboration with Weiliang, but in this case it was an attempt introduce your brand - BRZHIFI.

And the new model flooded the market that was impoverished for the time of quarantine.

A gorgeous looking metal case. Yes, the bluetooth tail still pisses me off, but what can I do - this is the new Chinese fashion for wireless hell.

Everything inside the device looks very solid.

The photo also shows that the operational amplifiers are in cribs, which hints at the possibility of upgrading to more expensive op-amps or discrete assemblies, which can raise the sound of the device even higher.

With the declared price of 4500 rubles without delivery (delivery is 990 rubles), I had no chance to resist buying - this is what I wanted to try, for sure.

As for the bluetooth module, I hope that it will not do too much harm if you don’t use it, but for someone it doesn’t hold a pocket and stuff like that.

New models of amplifiers from China periodically delight not too rich music lovers, and sometimes sound more than worthy, contrary to the opinion of the snobs.

Waiting for the arrival of the BRZHIFI TPA3255 amplifier, I cannot add something else about this, in my opinion, potentially interesting model, but the capabilities of the TPA3255 chip on which the device is built, at one time, amazed me, so I got a chip in a beautiful aluminum case , with great performance - isn't this the new dream of an audiophile?
