Beyerdynamic Impacto Essential

The German company Beyerdynamic has released a novelty for lovers of high-resolution audio (AVR) - a miniature USB DAC with headphone amplifier Beyerdynamic Impacto Essential, which supports converting PCM signals up to 384/32 and DSD signals up to 5.6 MHz (DSD128).

Beyerdynamic Impacto Essential is built on a high quality ESS SABRE9018Q2C converter chip and has an excellent signal-to-noise ratio (121 dB). On the case there are buttons for controlling the playback modes of the connected device and adjusting the volume. The HI-RES indicator lights up when a high definition (BP) signal is input to the USB input.

The novelty can work with computers and mobile devices based on Windows, iOS and Android operating systems with a USB port. There are three different cables in the DAC kit for connecting to different types of USB connectors. Another Lightning cable should be available soon.

The Beyerdynamic Impacto Essential is one of the few miniature DACs to support this VR range. At the same time, the weight of the device is only 12 g, which is also one of the best indicators among devices of this type, which cannot be said about the price - it is one of the highest.
