The DALI Opticon LCR speaker system is housed in a relatively shallow enclosure (127 mm), and it can not only be placed on any suitable shelf but also simply hung on the wall. The speaker is designed to work in stereos, or in all three front channels of a home theater, and, despite its compact size, has good bass performance. DALI Opticon LCR is equipped with a set of emitters similar to those installed in other models of the series, therefore it can be used in some systems together with Opticon speakers in any combination.

The speaker has a combined high-frequency unit, consisting of a tweeter with a soft fabric dome with a diameter of 28 mm and a ribbon tweeter with dimensions of 17 x 45 mm. Thanks to this, the frequency response of the DALI Opticon LCR was extended to 32 kHz, achieving increased linearity in the audible frequency range and improving the airiness and transparency of the sound. Since this model can be used not only in a vertical but also in a horizontal position (for example, when working in the central channel of a home theater), the high-frequency module is made rotatable. It will not be difficult even for a novice user to turn it 90 degrees in the desired direction, and the whole process is described in detail in the instructions for the columns. In addition, the logo plate on the Opticon LCR grille is also rotatable.

The bass speaker in speaker is equipped with a paper-cloth cone with a diameter of 6.5 inches and is loaded on the bass reflex. The speaker has an effective SMC (Soft Magnetic Compound) magnetic system, which provides its high sensitivity and very fast response to changes in the music signal. Placing the DALI Opticon LCR on the wall further enhances the bass response, although the bass sounds convincing when placed on a shelf. For connection to the amplifier, one pair of screw terminals is provided, and the speaker case is equipped with deep internal damping and is manufactured at the company's factory. DALI Opticon LCR has a high-quality exterior finish with a vinyl film imitating natural wood of various varieties.
