Bang & Olufsen launches Factory Records design Beoplay A9 to celebrate label anniversary.

A limited edition Beoplay A9 acoustics company was released by Bang & Olufsen in collaboration with Warner Music in honor of the 40th anniversary of one of the most influential labels of the 80s - 90s, Factory Records. The graphic style of the label in those days was determined by the album covers of bands such as Joy Division and New Order, created by legendary designer Peter Saville.

It is these graphic images that are applied to the bezels of the "anniversary" Beoplay A9 . Their round shape was perfect for this purpose. In total, 4 variants of the wireless speaker with the iconic images of Factory Records were released. These include the first Factory Poster (also known as catalog number FAC1), Joy Division's cult album Unknown Pleasures, and New Order's groundbreaking album Power, Corruption & Lies.

Each of these Bang & Olufsen Beoplay A9 is released in 10 copies - a total of 40 pieces.

They are already available exclusively in the UK at Selfridges for £ 3,500.
