Cambridge Audio Unveils Sleek Black Editions: MXN10 & DacMagic 200M for HiFi Enthusiasts!

British HiFi brand Cambridge Audio has responded to customer demand by introducing Black Editions of its network streamer MXN10 and the DacMagic 200M. These new additions follow the release of the CX series Black Editions earlier in the year, catering to those seeking a classic black finish for their latest audio equipment.

The Cambridge Audio MXN10 and DacMagic 200M Black Editions are designed as half-width components, making them ideal for discreet integration into various HiFi systems, particularly well-suited for headphone-centric or desktop setups. The MXN10 features Cambridge's StreamMagic streaming platform, offering access to a wide array of online music services and internet radio. On the other hand, the DacMagic 200M, which originally debuted in 2021, not only serves as a digital-to-analog converter but also includes headphone amplification capabilities.

The Cambridge Audio MXN10 Black Edition, launched in February 2023, is intended to seamlessly complement vintage audio systems, providing streaming capabilities while maintaining a stylish and minimalist design. The Black Edition adds a touch of versatility to this, ensuring it blends seamlessly into a broader range of systems while preserving its aesthetic appeal.

In line with previous Black Edition releases from Cambridge Audio, both the DacMagic 200M and MXN10 Black Editions sport a sleek aluminum front plate in a matte black finish, accentuated by shimmering black gloss spot lettering. This dual-texture design sets them apart from standard black audio components, enhancing their visual presence.

Cambridge Audio's CEO, Stuart George, expressed enthusiasm for the new additions, stating, "The black-on-black style is a perfect match for the timeless minimalist design of MXN10 and DacMagic 200M. We had overwhelming demand for the CX Series Black Edition, and I’m delighted to introduce more to the Cambridge family."

Notably, the Black Edition components maintain the same price as their original Lunar Grey counterparts, ensuring accessibility for both existing and new customers.
