The Romanian company Meze Audio has expanded its headphone catalog with the Advar model. The manufacturer ranked the novelty as a class of IEM (in-ear monitors) - in-ear monitors. Unlike Meze Audio full-size planar models, Advar in-ear models are equipped with dynamic drivers. The diameter is quite large - 10.2 mm.

The name of the novelty, Antonio Meze, the lead developer and founder of the company, explained it this way: “For the archaic civilizations of Romania, Advar was like a talisman or amulet - it was considered omnipotent, it was a symbol of the absolute, designed to bring blessing to those who wear it. As descendants of ancient civilizations, we have followed our mission to preserve the essence of our culture and pass it on.”

Thus, by purchasing Meze Audio Advar headphones, in addition to the source of sound vibrations, their owner will also receive a kind of talisman-amulet in ancient Romanian traditions. This is supported by the design of the novelty. It combines black and gold finishes, and the shape and silhouette are inspired, according to Meze Audio, by natural lines.

The stainless steel case follows the natural form of minerals such as hematite. In addition, it is claimed that this shape will allow you to easily insert and remove the headphones, reducing discomfort during prolonged use.

Advar are capable of playing in the frequency range from 10 Hz to 30 kHz and are a fairly light load for amplifiers, with an impedance of 31 ohms. The model comes with a braided silver-plated cable that connects to the headphones using MMCX connectors, and to the source - 3.5 mm. Additionally, you can purchase balanced cables with 2.5 and 4.4 mm plugs.
