Updated Ikea Symfonisk shelf column

 Improved Processor And Reduced Power Consumption

Shelf column (and part-time shelf) Symfonisk from Ikea and Sonos was introduced in the spring of 2019. This model has become the "basic" in the Symfonisk series (there are also a Symfonisk photo frame column and a lamp column with the same name ). According to Ikea, the product proved to be in demand, and the company recently decided to update it.

The second version of the Symfonisk shelf-column features a more nimble processor and, according to Ikea, more memory. The model supports Sonos multi-room, as well as Apple AirPlay 2.

The manufacturer also emphasized that the second generation speaker consumes less power - about 2 watts in standby mode. Among other things, Western journalists found out that the column was equipped with an extended power cable and a partially modified control button panel.

There has not yet been a global presentation of the novelty, but in the Netherlands, the new generation Symfonisk column-shelf is already available at a price of 100 euros.
