Fluance RT85N Turntable: Nagaoka MP-110 Cartridge and Solid Wood Cabinet

Fluance has released the RT85N turntable. The new addition to the Nagaoka NP110 cartridge is included in the Fluance Reference Series product line. The manufacturer positions its RT85N as a worthy alternative to more expensive turntables.

Indeed, the Fluance RT85N features a solid wood body and a non-resonant acrylic disc. Acrylic was also chosen because of its massiveness - it is heavier than aluminum.

The novelty uses a classic belt drive with a flat rubber belt coming from a vibration-free electric motor. As a result, the Wow / Flutter parameter for RT85N does not exceed 0.07%.

The Nagaoka MP-110 cartridge is equipped with a diamond needle with a polished surface. With an output signal of 5 mV, this MM-type head, according to the manufacturer, has a soft and accurate sound.

The cartridge is pre-installed on the S-shaped tonearm. The turntable is ready to work almost immediately "out of the box" - the owner will only have to adjust the vibration-proof legs and install a disc with a belt.

In the US, the Fluance RT85N turntable with a Nagaoka MP-110 cartridge is already on sale for $ 500.
