The Motion AFX is designed to sit on overhead and floor speakers in the MartinLogan Motion series. These models include Motion 15, 20, 35XT, 40, and 60XT. The Martin Logan Motion AFX speakers are designed to bounce sound off the ceiling in the full Dolby atmos entertainment system, the martin logan AFX will also work with other top brands of flat-top speakers. For systems where top mounting of the speaker is not possible, other mounting options are available.

Branded Folded Motion tweeters use extremely low mass diaphragms that compress air and require significantly less deflection than a conventional 1-inch dome tweeter, which dramatically minimizes distortion and provides lightning-fast response times. The increased surface area also provides wide but controlled sound dispersion for a realistic and carefully engraved soundstage.

The Martin Logan Motion AFX speaker's body shape is specially designed to tilt the drivers toward the ceiling for accurate reproduction of Dolby Atmos' sound above the listener.
