Bang & Olufsen partners with Cisco to launch full-size noise canceling headphones

The Bang & Olufsen Cisco 980 headphones are primarily intended for teleworkers. Their numbers skyrocketed during the pandemic - and two leading home audio and corporate communications companies have teamed up to create a versatile product that is equally well suited for work and play.

The headset was launched at the Cisco WebexOne event. It is actually one device for enterprise applications and tools that are used in remote work such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Video.

 The phone is equipped with Bluetooth 5.1 Active beamforming and noise cancellation microphones. They also are used as part of the onboard active and adaptive noise cancellation system.

Workers working from home will be able to concentrate on their work and not be distracted by background noises or background music. 

The developers have promised top-quality sound. Naturally, the new model included controls to receive calls playing back, and so on. Beamforming microphone arrays have been designed to improve the quality of voice for video calls and calls.

 Cisco 980 headphones are positioned as a business model for comfortable use all day long. Sales are expected to begin in 2022 - and exclusively through Cisco.

The B&O Cisco 980 has a suggested price of $ 550 in the US.
