Nime Audio Elite One 1

The first NIME Audiodesign product was named Elite One. These loudspeakers use 20mm wood, 10 mm aluminum sheets, and stainless steel. The loudspeaker cabinet, made of wood, is clad on the outside with 10 mm aluminum, and stainless steel is used as the front panel. After the speaker cabinet is completely ready, it is painted with special oil paint. Such an unusual design of acoustic systems solves not only aesthetic problems but also functional ones, allowing you to effectively fight resonances and help reduce diffraction.

In addition to the special shape of the case, the inner part of the case is made of wood, and its combination with the outer cladding made of aluminum contributes to the effective fight against resonances. As the ultimate version of the Elite One loudspeaker, NIME Audiodesign offers S-rated speakers. Elite One S has the toughest and most durable body, as it is made entirely of stainless steel.

Each metal element of the case is modeled on a computer and manufactured using ultra-precise laser cutting. After that, all the elements are assembled (welded) together completely by hand by one person, and then polished to obtain a perfectly flat surface. The last stage of production is the fabrication and installation of crossovers and the installation of the speakers themselves, which takes a total of 150 hours and is performed by individual narrow-profile specialists.

For the manufacture of his acoustic systems, Niko decided not to use the widespread driver's SEAS, Scan-Speak, Vifa, Visaton, which are used by all other manufacturers. Instead, he decided to turn his attention towards the more refined and innovative Accuton drivers made in Germany. The drivers use lightweight ceramic cones for maximum rigidity and minimum distortion. The crossover filter uses only the most advanced Mundorf Supreme Silver / Gold series oil-filled capacitors, and Mundorf oxygen-free copper tape inductors ensure stable operation at frequencies up to 100 kHz. High-quality cable from the USA is used for internal wiring, and the products of the famous brand WBT are used as terminals
